EZ SMILE delivers the most advanced clear aligner therapy currently available on the global market. Launched a few years ago, they have taken the world of cosmetic dentistry by storm.
The challenge
EZ SMILE needed a way to break into and disrupt the exclusive and highly-protected cosmetic dental market. Their main competitor is a $1.5bn annual turnover company. They needed a highly-efficient way to be able to bring their low-cost, high-tech product direct to customers and avoid high processing and support overheads while being able to compete with their giant rival.
The solution
EZ SMILE delivers the most advanced clear aligner therapy currently available on the global market. Launched a few years ago, they have taken the world of cosmetic dentistry by storm.
We then architected, coded, and project managed a completely bespoke system using a best-practice PHP framework. We managed the communications and integrations with their overseas manufacturing and local warehousing suppliers.
The application handles the ecommerce ordering and payment plans for their products, the management of the at-home teeth impressions, the treatment plan staggered product dispatch, and customer progress. To allow for cost-effective, seamless continuous development of their application, we continue to provide a dedicated developer service.
The result
EZ SMILE exploded onto the scene with a bang! Within 12 months of launching their product to the market, they have gained National attention with TV and media exposure and annual revenue in excess of $2.5m.
They are now looking at expansion in the South-East Asian and South American markets. They are able to move with such speed due to the robust technical infrastructure of their bespoke application
