# The Post-it note graveyard

Forty ideas. Three outputs. That's not a creativity problem — it's a pipeline problem.

I counted the Post-it notes in my office last week. Stopped at forty.

Then I counted how many of those ideas had become anything — a post, an article, a tool, a conversation with a client.

Three.

Forty ideas. Three outputs. And I run a business that is literally built around turning ideas into assets.

The ideas were not bad. Some of them were better than the three that made it. The difference was not quality. It was that the three happened to land on a day when I had time to do something with them.

That is not a creativity problem. That is a pipeline problem.
